My paternal grandma Ethel Carroll lives in Michigan. I don't visit her often, but I look a lot like her and I love her very much. Her home is a beautiful time capsule full of lace and God and light.

Here begins my foray into both digital photography and blogging.
My friends and family spent Independence day weekend in the Finger Lakes region of New York state. We spent our days in bathing suits with beers in our hands, sparse smears of sunscreen on our backs, and mosquito bites littering our legs.
I'm mostly just happy to be photographing again after a lazy break from my cameras.
